Solar Panel Burn
Why is it that every time I buy solar panels, they are always duds?Several years ago, I bought solar panels from Radio Shack. The reason why those didn't work was because the amount of current (measured in amperes) was too low despite their size. Upon further inspection, the panels high voltage and low current meant that the resistance would not allow electricity to pass through the wire to the device.
Today I created my own adapter for a different solar panel, this one has a rechargable batter to store the charge and the current and voltage rates were much better. But for some reason, history repeated itself.
This charger even had a USB port to directly power the device. My hard work and ingenuity have been in vain efforts. Was the product defective, or did a careless postal worker abuse this package? Whoever or whatever is to blame, I will get to the bottom of what caused this device to fail again.
Failure is not an acceptable option.

The Tubes
The "series of tubes" meme is still alive and well it seems. The Xbox 360 game Gears of War has a "series of tubes" hack. For the low tech nerds (Yes, you with the 20 sided dice), the card game The Spoils, has this card.
I'm not into TCGs, but I did find this quite amusing. Some guy is selling this card on eBay in Florida for $2.

Wanted: Instructions to sync a Sony Clié PEG-UX50 with Fedora Core 3 - Click!
OK, I love my new PDA (thank you, duffstuf123! ^_^), but finding instructions to syncronize such a wonderful piece of new technology has been difficult to find.Yeah, my Clié came with an installation CD and an instruction manual. The guy who sold it to me was even generous enough to include a 128MB Memory Stick. But something I had not anticipated occured: there is no instructions for syncronizing this device with Linux...yet.
PalmSource did make an announcement stating that they would develop software to syncronize PalmOS devices with the Linux operating system. KDE has a good program called KPilot to syncronize the device with programs part of their KDE PIM groupware.
However, their are some relatively simple instructions to set up Palm devices with Linux. I just have not found a common method yet. I hope to find the instructions by the end of this week and when I do find them, I will post them here at BushidoHacks.com or I'll post the link to the instructions that I have found suitable for the Sony Clié.
Stay tuned. Good news is on the way.
